Mortgage brokers don't lend and can't approve loans or make loan commitments to borrowers. Their role is to bring borrowers and lenders together. A broker keeps an eye on the mortgage market through ties to local, regional, and national lenders, and can refer a future borrower to a mortgage banker, savings institution or commercial bank. What can a Mortgage Broker do for you?Brokers provide consumers with choice, convenience and expertise. The consumer receives an expert mentor through the complex mortgage lending process. A Mortgage Broker can place a loan with the lender that has the best rate at the time of agreement. Mortgage companies offer the consumer the means to obtain manageable and affordable home loans while balancing the consumer's financial resources and objectives. A huge benefit is the extensive network of private and institutional lenders that mortgage brokers represent. Since each lender has specific loan guidelines and criteria, the Mortgage Broker can help you find the type of loan that will suit your specific needs and financial situation. One of the most important aspects of property purchasing is ensuring that you have the correct structure from both a loan and tax perspective. History of WINWIN (Women’s Investment Network) was founded in 1983 with a view to educating women about money and how they can invest to secure their future. At that time women were earning good money but were spending it on the mortgage, children’s education, etc and not putting it towards their retirement. You might say that nothing has changed!!! Janeece’s foundations were grounded in the finance industry from a very early age due to a close relationship with her father, a successful accountant, who encouraged discussions about tax laws and changes that were current affairs. However, her first career was in the secretarial field. After the birth of her third child she assisted her husband in the running of his business. She joined WIN in 1988 as a computer operator and in 1989 became a Financial Planner after completing the appropriate studies. In 1994 Janeece took over Women’s Investment Network, Queensland and has been running it ever since, but changed the name to WIN Financial Network. In January 2002 Janeece completed her Diploma of Financial Advising through the Securities Institute. Janeece is an Affiliate Member of the Financial Planning Association.
